The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
As soon as people start putting pumpkins on their doorstep, I'm getting giddy abut Christmas. I may be 31 now, but this year is no exception! My excitement is no way diminished by the amount of work lying ahead, as Hannah's Kitchen once again prepares for Knaresborough Christmas Market; rather, market day is a key date in my Christmas prep calendar, and one that I enjoy immensely.
This year, taking centre stage, will be my yummy (IMHO!) mini Christmas cakes, the perfect size for a stocking filler, or teacher's end-of--term present. They're also ideal if you're the only person in the household who likes fruit cake, and don't want to still be eating the damn thing come Easter! From festively topped nearly-naked cakes, to Christmas-themed creations covered with marzipan and fondant, as well as, of course, the usual traybakes and cookies - do come and check out what's on offer on Sunday 4th December, in Knaresborough Market Place.
Also available will be "Hannah's Hampers", a new Christmas addition and a beautiful, unique gift for your sweet-toothed friends and relations (or yourself; 'tis the season to indulge, after all!). Each Christmas hamper will be filled with a selection of festive bakes and yummy treats, full details on how to order yours will be available on the stand at Knaresborough, and coming shortly to this website.
